Of length, over 4.50 m. height and with a base of 1.20 m.<\/p>\n<p>The wall had been built to contain a large terrace on had been built a villa from the im-<\/p>\n<p>bearing cubage and which also included an outdoor swimming pool.<\/p>\n<p>The terrain in question had a steep slope: due to continuous subsurface seepage, which was not visible but nonetheless present, the retaining wall, as mentioned, had a subsidence in the foundation that dragged part of the structure downstream, causing extensive damage to the building below as well.<\/p>\n<p>Our project, in collaboration with a geology and civil engineering firm, remedied the<\/p>\n<p>situation created, realizing a safe and modern work, especially of the safety point of view.<\/p>\n<p>To overcome the problem of subsurface seepage, a network of collection channels was created<\/p>\n<p>and water disposal, so as to ensure that never again can there be such problems.<\/p>\n<p>The remaining portions of the old stone wall that did not collapse were then partly demolished and rebuilt<\/p>\n<p>and, where possible, maintained but made absolutely safe.<\/p>\n<p>The photo summary reconstructs the highlights of the wall reconstruction and rehabilitation project.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Read the full documentation inside<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":1564,"featured_media":1572,"comment_status":"closed","ping_status":"open","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"_seopress_robots_primary_cat":"none","_seopress_titles_title":"","_seopress_titles_desc":"","_seopress_robots_index":"","footnotes":""},"categories":[74,75],"tags":[],"class_list":["post-851","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-engineering","category-reconstruction"],"_links":{"self":[{"href":"https:\/\/vcpsagl.ch\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/posts\/851","targetHints":{"allow":["GET"]}}],"collection":[{"href":"https:\/\/vcpsagl.ch\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/posts"}],"about":[{"href":"https:\/\/vcpsagl.ch\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/types\/post"}],"author":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/vcpsagl.ch\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/users\/1564"}],"replies":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/vcpsagl.ch\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/comments?post=851"}],"version-history":[{"count":0,"href":"https:\/\/vcpsagl.ch\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/posts\/851\/revisions"}],"wp:featuredmedia":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/vcpsagl.ch\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media\/1572"}],"wp:attachment":[{"href":"https:\/\/vcpsagl.ch\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media?parent=851"}],"wp:term":[{"taxonomy":"category","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/vcpsagl.ch\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/categories?post=851"},{"taxonomy":"post_tag","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/vcpsagl.ch\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/tags?post=851"}],"curies":[{"name":"wp","href":"https:\/\/api.w.org\/{rel}","templated":true}]}}
